And Why You Should Pass on Them
Okay so I am out to learn everything possible about Internet Marketing and how to be a success on the Internet business band wagon, but I have reached a breaking point where it comes to one time offers. (OTO’s)
Dedicating yourself to learning the business does not mean that you have to buy every training manual and ebook out there, even if it is from someone you respect.
I have been coming across a lot of tempting offers that I am considering for future purchase but those one time offers are just starting to rub me in the wrong direction. Timing is everything for me, and sometimes I am just not ready for certain products and I get fairly annoyed at someone telling me that this is my only chance to get this product or at this reduced price.
Okay if that’s the way they want it, that is the way they will have it. I used to have a strict policy that I would not be high pressured into making any purchases and somewhere I have let that policy lag and given into pressure and gotten sucked into that one time offer. Where did I go wrong and why do these Internet Marketing Guru’s have to resort to these kinds of sales tactics? They disappoint me once again.
As Wallace D. Wattles states in his book “The Science of Getting Rich” you should never be in a hurry. If you are in a hurry you are operating in the competitive mind and not the creative mind. People must be taught to become rich by creation, not by competition.
“Man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind.”
“Every man who becomes rich by competition throws down behind him the ladder by which he rises, and keeps others down; but every man who gets rich by creation opens a way for thousands to follow him, and inspires them to do so.”
So remember the next time you feel pressured to make a purchase what Wallace D. Wattles teaches about the true Science of getting rich. It’s competition and fear that fuels the one time offer, not creativity or honesty. One time offers are simply gimmicks to get you to make a purchase now while they have your attention because they know as soon as you leave their pitch page, they will probably loose a sale.
